Team Lead - Motor Test Station

Creating a compact, low-cost, lightweight motor test station for students to use as lab equipment for the mechatronics course at San Francisco State University.

Instructed the weekly Supplemental Instructional Course, SCI 228 [01] - Mathematics Concepts: Calculus 3. Coordinated with professors and created lesson plans covering studying techniques and examples to help students succeed in partial differentiation, vector calculus and other topics.

Graded the assignments of over 25 students for both sections of the Engineering Introduction to Computers course. Created a unique rubric for each assignment to fairly grade students’ programming work. Checked functionality of student programs, fulfillment of assignment requirements, and input grades into the iLearn administrative page.

Control for Assistive & Rehabilitation and Robotics Lab

Intern

Designed gearbox components for a shoulder prosthetic using MATLAB and Solidworks. Researched different cycloidal drive systems to study the effects of backlash and gear ratios on part size, wear, and output.

In 2020, during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, I enrolled at San Francisco State University in hopes of refining and expanding my understanding of engineering.

Modeled school classrooms, bathrooms, and multi use rooms for schools around Sonoma County using SketchUp. Created a bird's-eye view of a campus and designed a walking path using AutoCAD. Redlined blueprints and contracts using Adobe Acrobat. Organized project files into binders to increase accessibility.
